Diversity Activities at SIX

The history of SIX is rooted in Switzerland, but as a global company we are proud to include and connect employees from 19 different countries and more than 80 nationalities. We take pride in our people and the culture we shape. Here are some examples of how we celebrate diversity and invest in equity and inclusion:

Benefits for all life stages

Every life stage brings different joys and challenges. Our benefits support our employees in every stage and need, from development programs for talents in different stages of their careers, to various ways to support parents. Our different sports and leisure clubs unite people from different locations who share the same passions and together with programs that support and prioritize well-being they contribute to both the physical and mental health of our colleagues.  

Partnership with Advance

Advance is an association that promotes women in leadership positions. The network offers events, workshops, mentorship and advice to women in management positions and equips ambitious women managers with skills and tools to grow their leadership abilities. SIX is committed to increasing the proportion of women in management positions and is invested in both attracting new talent and supporting the growth of our existing colleagues.  

Gender Diversity Network

The Gender Diversity Network is an internal platform on which women and men actively share their experiences and advice. Its objective is to generate ideas for fostering greater diversity at SIX and to put them into action. The network was founded in 2018 and is now connecting members around all SIX locations.

Programs for Parents

Parents are facing additional challenges in finding the balance between work and the life outside of it. SIX provides several programs and benefits to support working parents, like the possibility to work part-time, extended maternity and paternity leave in most locations, financial support for children attending day care and a peer coaching program called Parents@work.

LGBT+ Network

At SIX, we take pride in our diverse and inclusive workplace, where everyone is valued, no matter their sexual orientation, gender expression, or identity. Our LGBT+ network is a space for all employees who want to foster a LGBT+ friendly environment. Participating in Pride events in Zurich, Warsaw, and Madrid showcases our strong commitment to this cause. We firmly believe that an environment built on acceptance and equality fosters innovation, teamwork, and personal growth.

Fair-On-Pay Certificate for SIX

SIX is proud to have received the Fair-On-Pay certificate for its equal pay policy. This certificate, awarded by Comp-On AG, is a reference in the Swiss market. It identifies us as an exemplary employer and increases our attractiveness.
